The resorts are relatively close to the airport, which makes arrival and departure much easier. Puerto Plata is beautiful in its own right, but the beaches can be rockier with rougher water, and everything is more spread out. For clients seeking that classic Caribbean beach experience with minimal hassle, Punta Cana wins.

During my stay, I toured the entire Palladium property, including the TRS section and the Family Select area. Now I know exactly how to match clients with the right experience. For adults seeking tranquility, TRS offers beautiful swim-up rooms in an adult-only setting. For families, the Family Select area is worth every penny of the upgrade. Children get their own check-in area with video games, TVs, and snacks waiting in a dedicated lobby. Those details matter when you're traveling with kids.
